Still Want to Cancel? Here’s What to Expect
If you decide to move forward in cancelling your community solar subscription, here’s how the process works:
- Submit the Cancellation Form: Let us know you want to cancel by filling out the form on this page.
- Email Confirmation: You will receive an email in 3-5 business days indicating that we received your request and are processing your cancellation.
- Utility Notification: We submit all cancellations once a month, but each electric utility company processes them according to their own schedule.
- Billing Timeline: Depending on your utility company, cancellations can take up to 90 days to take effect. You may continue seeing charges for solar credits up to a few months after cancellation — this happens because of the delay in billing cycles for credits you’ve already used.
