How Community Solar Works

Community Solar is a green option that makes solar power available to renters and homeowners with no up-front costs or expensive rooftop solar panels. Instead, solar panels are located at local solar gardens across New Jersey, which generate power from the sun and deliver it to the local Rockland Electric energy grid. Then, a portion of that power is credited to you, reducing your electricity bill every month.
